Patricia J. "Patsy" Utemark, 76, of Hubbard, NE passed away Saturday July 10, 2010 at a Sioux City Hospital
Services were 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Hubbard with the Rev. Paul Albenesius officiating. Burial was in St. Michael's Catholic Cemetery in South Sioux City. Visitation at Becker - Hunt Funeral Home was from 1-4 p.m. Tuesday. The body was then taken to the church for visitation from 5 to 8 p.m. and a Scriptural Wake Service at 7 P.M.
Patsy was born January 11, 1934 in Waterbury, NE the daughter of Leo M. and Fern (Marsh) Beacom. She graduated from Emerson, NE Sacred Heart School and attended one year of Nettleton Business College in Sioux City. She was employed at Lefco Plumbing and Supply Company in Sioux City for twenty-seven years. She married Stanley R. Utemark May 14, 1976 in Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Emerson, NE.
She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church and the Altar Society in Hubbard.
Survivors include her husband Stanley of Hubbard, two brothers and their wives: Don and Marlene Beacom of Grand Island, NE, Mike and Carole of Hooper, NE, a bother-in-law Dale Bakke, a sister-in-law Bette Beacom, a brother-in-law and sister-in-law Norval and Sharon Utemark of West Point, NE and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers: Martin, Robert, and William Beacom, three sisters: Delores Bakke, Catherine Connolly and Lois Beacom.
Pallbearers were Dick, Gayle, Brian, Pat, John, Dan, Scott, Paul, Mike and Ron Beacom. Honorary pallbearers will be: Norval Utemark, Irvin Schlickbernd, Jim, Neal and Terry Beacom, Ollie Hassler and Dale Bakke.
