South Sioux City, NE: David Limon, Sr. 62, of South Sioux City died Thursday June 24, 2010 at a Sioux City Hospital.
Funeral services were 10:30 A.M. Wednesday, June 30, 2010 at St. Michael's Catholic Church with the Rev. Osar Perez officiating. Burial was in the Dakota City Cemetery. Visitation at Becker - Hunt Funeral Home was from 4 to 8 P.M. Tuesday with a prayer service at 7 P.M.
David was born June 5, 1948, in Zapotlanejo, Jalisco, Mexico, the son of Agripin and Teresa Becerra Limon. He married Maria G. Urenda in January of 1960 in Mexico. He was employed at IBP now Tyson Meats in Dakota City.
He was a member of St. Michael Catholic Church.
Survivors include his wife Maria of South Sioux City, four sons: David Limon Jr., Ramon H. Limon, Ricardo Limon, and Alejandro Limon all of South Sioux City, five daughters: Teresa Limon of Dakota City, Gloria Limon of Nashville, Tenn., Martha Limon of Watertown, SD, Maribel Limon of Minn., and Yesika G. Limon of Castlewood, SD, four brothers: Maurico of Los Angeles, CA, Altelmo and Jabier both of Mexico, Arnulfo of California, seven sisters: Josefina, Martha, Lupe and Esther all of Mexico, Alicia and Grasiela both of CA, Antonia of Tenn.
